The Dawn of the Sattvic Era – Sattvasaurus
Author: Dr. Prabhakar Belavadi
Anxiotic Chaos
It was a typical day. Grandpa performed his
morning pooja and had breakfast, then relaxed on the sofa while watching the TV
news channel. All of a sudden, the screen flashed alarming headlines: “Mild
quakes in the Western Ghats,” “Cracks appear in the valley,” and “Dinosaurs
emerge from beneath the earth.” Grandpa was thrilled.
In the nearby village, a shepherd gathered
his flock and ran, shouting, “Alert! Awake! Strange monsters have emerged!”
Grandpa, overwhelmed with curiosity, dashed to the cricket ground where his
grandson, Tanay, was batting.
“Tanay, come quick! Stop playing cricket!”
Grandpa yelled breathlessly.
Tanay frowned, “Why, Grandpa? I’m batting.
Can’t leave now!”
“Your favorite dinosaurs have emerged in
India! Run—the TV is flashing the news!” Grandpa exclaimed, straining his
voice.
Hearing “dinosaurs,” Tanay dropped his
cricket bat and sprinted home, leaving his teammates baffled and Grandpa
gasping.
Panic gripped the population as dinosaurs,
mysteriously revived, roamed free. Families huddled in their homes in fear,
while news channels reported rising tension. But Tanay, instead of being
paralyzed by fear, felt a peculiar sense of wonder.
From his TV screen, he watched these
creatures closely. Amid the chaos, he noticed something extraordinary—a giant
herbivorous dinosaur gently clearing a path for frightened animals to escape.
It struck him: these dinosaurs weren’t inherently hostile—they were simply
misunderstood.
Drawing inspiration from the Triassic,
Jurassic, and Cretaceous eras he’d read about, Tanay felt a new age had dawned:
the Sattvic Era. Unlike the destructive monsters of legend, these dinosaurs,
emerging from Patala loka, were humane and peaceful.
Tanay murmured to himself, “Like Newton’s
apple, I’ve been prepared for this moment.” With torn pages of dinosaur books
and countless documentaries etched in his memory, Tanay was confident in his
understanding of this remarkable species.
Imagination and Innovation
Tanay was no ordinary 10-year-old. His room
was a miniature museum of dinosaurs, housing over 100 models of various shapes
and sizes. From towering Brachiosaurus to fierce Velociraptors, Tanay could
name each one instantly, almost as if he had lived among them.
His simple logic was: “People believe in
the unseen past; they must also believe in the unknown future.”
Determined to act, Tanay rallied his
ever-supportive family: his father Bharat, an expert in Artificial
Intelligence; his mother Jayashree, a blend of philosophy and digital wisdom;
and his vigilant sister Dhriti, a skilled violinist. Together, they formed
“Dino Dreamers,” a secret group dedicated to finding ways for humans and
dinosaurs to coexist.
As Tanay dreamed big, his ideas sparked
innovation. He imagined dinosaurs clearing debris, ploughing fields, towing
ships, and even aiding in search-and-rescue missions. With Bharat designing
blueprints and Dhriti refining their approach with meticulous observation, the
family created groundbreaking solutions.
Their work caught the attention of a
compassionate palaeontologist, Dr. Shilpa, who believed in youthful innovation.
Together, they established Dino Haven, an experimental sanctuary where humans
and dinosaurs thrived in harmony.
Tanay poured his imagination into his
treasured notebook, visualizing dinosaurs helping humans in unimaginable ways.
With gentle herbivores aiding farmers, aquatic giants towing ships, and winged
dinosaurs delivering rescue kits, the possibilities were endless. Tanay’s
dreams demonstrated that dinosaurs weren’t relics of the past but partners in
creating a better future.
Dinosaur Harmony in Motion
The sanctuary blossomed into a vibrant hub
where dinosaurs and humans worked side by side. Tanay marvelled at the sight of
Brachiosaurus irrigating fields with their tails, Triceratops restoring
storm-damaged forests, Mosasaurus towing cargo ships across oceans, and
Pterosaurs carrying rescue kits to flood-stricken areas.
Each dinosaur seemed to embody qualities
from Indian mythology, as though history and legend converged. Flying dinosaurs
resembled Hanuman and Garuda, aquatic giants mirrored Koorma and Matsya, while
land dinosaurs were named Bheema and Ghatotkacha. Strangely, their behavior
aligned with their mythological namesakes, further enchanting the community.
Tanay was inspired by Krishna’s flute and
the ancient art of snake charming
. Practising day and night, he composed
soothing melodies that herbivorous dinosaurs responded to with gentle
affection. For tougher breeds, Dhriti’s violin proved magical, taming even the
most stubborn dinosaurs. Together, they discovered that soft music fostered tranquillity,
leading to the creation of a Dino Haven Opera, where instruments like the
flute, violin, and keyboard calmed visitors and dinosaurs alike.
Though challenges arose—such as opposition
from sceptics and logistical hurdles—Tanay persevered with the guidance of his
father and the support of his community. Combining ancient traditions and
modern science, he bridged gaps and fostered harmony between humans and
dinosaurs.
A Global Legacy
Tanay’s sanctuary became a symbol of
innovation and unity. His heartfelt speeches and ingenious inventions inspired
even the most sceptical minds, proving that imagination and empathy could
transform the world.
As demand for trained dinosaurs soared,
hybrid Sattvasaurus were created, tailored to meet diverse needs.
Philanthropists poured their resources into these wonder projects, advancing
global collaboration.
Tanay’s achievements earned him widespread
acclaim. Recognizing his extraordinary contributions, the Indian government
awarded him the highest award at an age when most children were still exploring
their potential.
Standing before an awe-struck audience,
Tanay humbly said, “This story isn’t just mine; it’s ours. It’s the melodies of
Krishna’s flute, the wisdom of our traditions, and the unwavering love of my
family that made it possible.”
As the sanctuary thrived, Tanay and his
family watched with pride as humans and dinosaurs worked in harmony. His
dreams, born from childlike wonder, reshaped the world—and reminded humanity of
the boundless potential of imagination.
